In Egyptian mythology, The ḥmswt (anglicized as The Hemsut or The Hemuset were the goddesses of fate and protection. They are representative of the ka. Their headdresses bear shields, above which are two crossed arrows.

The Hemsut are briefly mentioned in The Prince of Egypt.
